Every class has that one kid who draws. I was that kid.
I always knew I'd end up in a creative profession. I'm a product designer now, so that part came true. The drawing never stopped though. It just moved to the side of my life where nothing has to be justified.

Most of my work sits somewhere near existentialism.
I paint what's in my head, which is usually my strange dreams, or the things that unsettle me.
I've never set out to make anyone uncomfortable. But there's an old line about how art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable, and when I look back at what I've made, it's mostly been doing the second one without being aware of it.
